HERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT HAVE MADE THEIR WAY ONTO MY LIST OF FAVORITE GEAR! I WANT TO GIVE YOU A PEAK INTO MY BAG AND SEE WHAT’S ON MY DESK!

I get a lot of questions about what camera I use for Hybrid Photo & Video, what my favorite lenses are, and overall what gear I would recommend for different things! So, I figured I would compile a list of my faves and share it with you all!

CAMERA BODIES

I have two Nikon z6II Camera Bodies, Nikon D850 and the Nikon Z8 as my main cameras. I also have a backup D4s and a D7000 & D400 for some fun vintage style photos. I LOVE these cameras! The quality and colors have been my favorite of any camera I’ve owned. I get asked what other cameras I would recommend if you’re just getting started – I would say these are two levels of camera bodies that are also equally great for starting out: 1. The Nikon D7500 or 2. The Nikon Z50 for mirrorless!

LENSES

These are my favorite lenses in order of what I use most:

• Nikon 85mm 1.8- The color from this lens is beautiful… its perfect for ceremonies and toasts & it allows you to get that soft up close focus without feeling to close.
• Nikon 50 mm 1.2 – I could photograph a full wedding on the 50 mm! It’s so versatile!
• Nikon Z 35 mm 1.4
• Tamron 70-200 mm 1.8 – I typically only use this lens for ceremonies & it gives you lots of variety.
• 24-70 mm 1.8 – I am definitely a prime girl but if I had to use a zoom this is my favorite.
